New Spider-man trailer is here

I have been looking forward to seeing a glimpse of the new Spider-man as I have been skeptical about it. After seeing this preview I am pumped for it. It is sticking to the comic books pretty well. It shows how Dr.Connor(Lizard) was a partner of Peter Parker’s father. Parker seems to actually be dating Gwen Stacey as he was in the original. Stacey was Parker’s first love.

I believe that this will be way better than Tobey Maguire’s version of Spider-Man. The problem is, can they pull it off. This boy will be sitting in the theaters when this first comes out.

Pez gives first look at Lizard in Spiderman

No longer have to wait to see what the Lizard, Spiderman’s villain in the new film, may look like. Rhys Ifans plays the character that is transformed into the scaled beast. The first look comes from Pez, that is right. A Pez dispenser that is made out to be of the villain.

Check out the Lizard. Is this what the Lizard is going to look like in the new film? I would think he would be thicker, but of course it is a Pez dispenser we are basing this character off of.

Wilmington NC announcing of Iron Man 3

Today North Carolina’s governor, Bev Purdue, will be traveling to Wilmington, NC to announce the coming of a huge major film. Rumors have been swirling about it being the production of Iron Man 3. If this is true, it will be Wilmington’s largest production come to date. Currently a production is looking for crew members under a fake name, and yours truly has been asked to work on it. It is up to debate, have I just been asked to work on Iron Man 3? The next decision, should I do it. Obviously I would not be able to write about what happens on set if I do get the chance too.

Anyways, I think it is exciting news and I cannot wait to have the chance to see Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, and possibly Scarlett Johansson come to town. I think the third movie should now bring in the Mandarin, one of Iron Man’s toughest enemies. Who is with me on this one?

Avengers Trailer Premiere

The trailer premiere of Avengers came out today. I am just excited as a kid opening gifts on Christmas Day. Watching the Avengers premiere it seems that Loki is considered the main bad guy, but it still did not give much look into it. I have a feeling that the Skrull are still the bad ones since they were the original invaders who brought the Avengers together.

The trailer shows all the Avengers even your first glimpse of Mark Ruffalo as the Incredible Hulk. I was very excited to see this bit. These actors combined seem absolutely amazing and they work well together. Downey’s comedy adds a lot to the film too. Check it out and let me know what you think.

What comic book hero would you hook up with?

During my morning drive to the gym, I always enjoy listening to some talk radio. Today’s big topic on the way back was if you could have a one night stand with any super-hero comic character who would it be. Some of the women I heard say “Thor,” and they explained their reason pretty well. I will say though Thor would be terrible in an actual relationship. He is one of the dumbest comic characters, as in not that bright. Most women argued they liked his high ego and cockiness, figures.

Now if you ask me what comic book female character I would go for was? Well it would be Mystique. You may say ewww, she is blue. Well one I would do her while she is blue, it would be kinky. If you have Mystique though you have hit the jackpot. One she seems kinky herself and seems like the kind of woman who would please her man. Second, she can change into anyone you want. You could be like, well I’m down for some Scarlett Johansson today. Boom, she turns into a naked Scar Jo. You could get anyone you want with Mystique, it would be the ultimate fantasy for a man. You would never get bored during sex.

So who would you do?

Glimpse at Superman costume

Henry Cavill is seen out in the new Superman costume. He is in a battle scene with what looks to be a CGI villain. The new costume so far is iffy to me. I saw some images with his cape off, and some with them on. Does it get torn off? I am looking forward to this movie. I think it will do great. Also if your into comics, Justice League #1 just came out today. They are remaking all the old DC comics as if they were from today now. Kinda like Marvel’s Ultimates.

First look at Anne Hathaway as Catwoman

Just after a good week of Batman set photos released, we have an official photo of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. It looks to me they are going off of the more modern Catwoman look that the current Catwoman has been sporting instead of the one most fans know of in a leather mask.

First look at Henry Cavill as Superman

Most likely this is just a photo op because production has not even started on this film. I am looking forward to this film so much. I think it will be as good as the new Batmans.

Bradley Cooper in talks for Crow remake

Many are looking forward to the remake of The Crow and I am one of them. I think it will be a great remake and I have always enjoyed all the Crow movies. The new Crow film is now eying up sexy man, Bradley Cooper. Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is directing the film, he is known for 28 Weeks Later. I am sure he will make it dark and grungy. I am unsure though about Cooper for this position, he has the looks, but does he have the acting talent to be such a dark character.

I hope that the film is remade in Wilmington, NC where it was made originally. It would be another great film to bring back to the area. In the original Brandon Lee was shot and killed during an accident on the scene with a prop gun.
