Look at these Stoogers, literally. Here is your first look at the new Three Stooges. The cast includes Chris Diamantopoulos (Moe), Sean Hayes (Larry), and Will Sasso (Curly). Also in this line up is Jane Lynch, Sofia Vergera, Jennifer Hudson, Larry David, and the Jersey Shore cast. Yes that is right people, some one actually hired the Jersey Shore cast.

So what do you think of this cast? I think Sean Hayes looks like a great Larry, I was skeptical at first, but he looks good. I don’t know about Sasso as Curly, but he looks the part. I have no clue who the guy is playing Moe. First looking at it, I thought it was Jim Carrey. He really hasn’t had a starring role in anything yet, so we will see how he does.

Today North Carolina’s governor, Bev Purdue, will be traveling to Wilmington, NC to announce the coming of a huge major film. Rumors have been swirling about it being the production of Iron Man 3. If this is true, it will be Wilmington’s largest production come to date. Currently a production is looking for crew members under a fake name, and yours truly has been asked to work on it. It is up to debate, have I just been asked to work on Iron Man 3? The next decision, should I do it. Obviously I would not be able to write about what happens on set if I do get the chance too.

Anyways, I think it is exciting news and I cannot wait to have the chance to see Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, and possibly Scarlett Johansson come to town. I think the third movie should now bring in the Mandarin, one of Iron Man’s toughest enemies. Who is with me on this one?

A lot about Shia LaBeouf today. Another story related to Shia is the new Transformers 4 & 5 castings. Producers would like to have Michael Bay back, but know they will not get Shia. So who are they thinking about casting now? Well rumor has it the lead may be Jason Statham, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s boy toy.

If Statham is in it, that means we can expect some super Transformer action. So what would they make Transformer’s 4&5 about. They still have not done Unicron.

New production stills were released for the new Snow White film with Julia Roberts. This is more of a live-action of the cartoon, unlike the Kristen Stewart one. In Snow White, Lily Collins plays the disney princess. Julia Roberts is the Evil Queen, with Armie Hammer as the prince.

Lily Collins looks like more of a Snow White than Kristen Stewart, take a look.

Then there is Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen. I hope she can pull it off. It seems that she is an overpaid actress anymore who doesn’t seem worth the money. Lily Collins says: “Julia’s playing evil in a way that I don’t think people are going to expect. Everyone loves that Julia smile and laugh and she maintains that, but in such this creepy eerie way that you don’t know if you love her or hate her. She’s brilliant and it’s been an honour. She’s so nice, she’s so classy, she’s just everything I had hoped she’d be. Julia gets to be quite horrible to me. There’s a scene where she pulls my hair and she pulled it so hard that some of it came out! But we kept rolling and afterward she was like, ‘I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry!’” Yes, I’m sure it was an “accident”.

Did anyone notice the dwarves at the top? I mean come on, did they have a hard time casting for it? One is wearing a cowboys hat? Is there an asian dwarf in there? I don’t remember an asian dwarf.

Wilmington NC has some exciting movie news today. It is a huge possibility that Marvel’s Iron Man 3 will be filming at Screen Gems on the east coastal beach town. Iron Man 3 would rent out roughly 10 studio buildings from screen gems. The film would bring in roughly 200 million dollars in production value to the community. Don’t forget about how much tourists from around the area will come too to try to see some type of filming.

Production crews have been spotted over the weeks possibly building the sets. Shooting is expected to start in June of 2012 and released May of 2013.

The local film commission cannot say anything yet as it has not been totally confirmed. It is 90 percent confirmed.

Obviously Robert Downey Jr will be returning, and most likely Gwyneth Paltrow and hopefully Scarlett Johansson. If Scar Jo is in town, I will so stalk the shit out of that.

It is coming soon, the American Reunion. The full original cast is back in this great film that will be sure to make us all laugh. This time the film is taking place during the class 10 year reunion during this time Jim and Michelle have married . Kevin and Vicky has said goodbye to eachother, Oz and Heather grew apart, but Finch still longs for Stifler’s mom.

Henry Cavill is seen out in the new Superman costume. He is in a battle scene with what looks to be a CGI villain. The new costume so far is iffy to me. I saw some images with his cape off, and some with them on. Does it get torn off? I am looking forward to this movie. I think it will do great. Also if your into comics, Justice League #1 just came out today. They are remaking all the old DC comics as if they were from today now. Kinda like Marvel’s Ultimates.

Lisa Niemi, Patrick Swayze’s widow, was a little displeased that she had to hear it from the tabloids and news that Dirty Dancing was going to be remade. She expected a phone call or something about it.

Enquirer wrote:

Patrick Swayze’s devastated wife Lisa Niemi is outraged she hasn’t been consulted on the remake of “Dirty Dancing” – the celebrated film that made her late husband a superstar…

Now Kenny Ortega, the original film’s choreographer, is set to direct a remake – and Lisa is worried it will erase the memory of her husband’s masterful performance.

“Lisa wishes someone – anyone – would have called to tell her about the remake before she read about it,” said an insider. “She wishes they would have asked her opinion. I’m sure she would’ve urged them to find a way to incorporate original footage of Patrick in the new film…

“Lisa says she wants Patrick to be remembered for his roles in ‘Dirty Dancing,’ ‘Ghost,’ and the brave fight he waged against cancer,” revealed the insider.

“She knows she doesn’t have any standing to tell anyone how to make the movie, but does feel she could contribute something.”

The director of the remake will be the choreographer of the original Dirty Dancing. Knowing that he was part of the original from the 80′s you think he would not want to touch a masterpiece. Dirty Dancing is still enjoyed by so many, and why does it need to be remade?

There is so much cast rumors floating around like Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake and Zac Efron. I hate to say it, but if your famous and you touch this film you may be kissing your career goodbye. I think people need to wait for Footloose to come out and see how badly it bombs before they make their decision on remaking Dirty Dancing.
