Simon Cowell is doing it again, this time he is trying to bore us with a DJ reality show. The reality mongul is teaming up with Jada Pinkett-Smith in the hunt for the greatest DJ’s in the world.

Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment will be producing Cowell’s show. “We have been working on this show for over a year and we wanted to partner with the right people. As soon as I met Jada and Miguel [Melendez] from Overbrook, I knew they would be our ideal partners. DJs are the new rock stars, it feels like the right time to make this show,” Simon said in a statement.

The two believe they have a hit, but seriously who is really going to watch? It seems like it is geared to a very low specification in audience. I personally don’t give a rats ass about the greatest DJ’s out there.

Exciting news for all you Glee fans. Also a big spoiler so if you don’t want to know what is going to happen, stop reading! Anyways, Rachel’s gay dads have been announced. Jeff Goldblum and Broadway star Brian Stokes will play her father. Awesome casting. I am looking forward to seeing Goldblum in this, and both characters have musical backgrounds.

Now here is the only thing that bothers me, we know she was adopted, but she really doesn’t mention that her father’s are gay. I mean why does this show have to be gay this, gay that. I understand that the writer is gay, but do you seriously have to make all your characters gay. I have never seen so many gay people in a high school. I have nothing against gays and I am full support of them having rights to being married, but it would be the same as having the same type of character over and over again. I mean it would be like having Glee as all African school and couple caucasians, or an all Asian school with a few African Americans. You need to diversify Glee, seriously.

I watched the Bachelor for the first time yesterday. I decided to do this after my girlfriend was invited to do a fantasy Bachelor league. Yes, I know that is crazy. Something that men do all the time by playing in many sports leagues, has now turned women doing Bachelor leagues. The women pick a few contestants and points are given out when they get roses. I decided to watch it to help root for my girlfriend and I learned that there are so many crazy women out there.

The show started out fine, but as soon as the ladies got together, the craziness came. One girl just cried all day long, I would boot her to the curb. The crying girl was fighting with a dumb girl, and dumb girl threatens to cut her face off. It is just nuts. I can see why most of these girls are probably on some dating site, and men stay away.

Cuteness in the morning is good for everybody. I figured I would share a video of a newborn baby gorilla that was shown off at the Chicago Zoo yesterday.

This gorilla is the first western lowland gorilla to be born at Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo since 2005. Just watch how adorable the video is.
