While I am on a One Tree Hill kick today, here is another throwback star from One Tree Hill, Tyler Hilton. Hilton just released his new video, This World Will Turn Your Way!.

Keeping track of some of our local stars here in Wilmington, NC. Right now, the beautiful, Sophia Bush and her boyfriend, Austin Nichols have been heavily involved in the Gulf Oil Disaster. One Tree Hill co-stars have been on twitter trying to get people to donate. Bush also released herself on Facebook in efforts to reel people in. They are supporting Global Green mainly.

The two went on a tour at the beaches of Louisiana to see first hand the effects of the oil spill. Twittering about how it is a lot worse then what we all think. Austin Nichols posted these pics on his facebook.

The two’s twitter pages have been gaining a large amount of followers lately because of the BP oil spill and how they are trying to help. I have not heard of too many celebrities coming to the aid of this disaster, and it is great to see these two who have local ties helping out. Well One Tree Hill fans, we can all rejoice! OTH has been picked up for another season along with Life Unexpected. The CW picked up two new shows too, and then killed Melrose Place. The two shows that were picked up were Nikita which is a remake of La Femme Nikita. The other is produced by Superman himself, Tom Welling, called Hellcats. It is an extreme-cheerleading drama. Do not ask me why Tom Welling is producing a cheerleading flick.

It is said that OTH and Life Unexpected are each getting 13 episodes this season. That will give Wilmington on more year with it. I believe OTH is going to have to just end the show and write a final story to it this season. It seems that people are starting to get tired of watching it and CW is recognizing that. I think it is fair enough to say it was a great run in Wilmington and next season should be the final season. I do not seeing it surviving one more. I am impressed it survived this far without Hilarie Burton and Chad Michael Murray. If Sophia Bush wants to leave it will be over with and I am sure she wants to do better things with her career. It seems she has great potential and should be doing a lot more.

A CW romance is in the mix. Vampire Diaries star, Paul Wesley, and One Tree Hill star, Torrey DeVitto have been together I guess for a while. Wesley is going as far as calling her his “wife.” People do not know if they got secretly married or if he is just calling her that. DeVitto was spotted out with Wesley with a ring on her finger, but Wesley did not have one. So reports are that they may just be engaged.

Hm… We can think of one more reason why Nina Dobrev, 21, won’t be hooking up with her Vampire Diaries co-star Paul Wesley — he’s married! We had heard that Paul, 27, was engaged to Torrey DeVito, 25 (whom you One Tree Hill fans should remember as Nanny Carrie) but we were SHOCKED when we overheard him introduce her as his WIFE at HollywoodLife.com’s Young Hollywood Awards on May 13 at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles.

The two kept things pretty quiet at the start of the night — he walked the red carpet alone, and she passed on it altogether — but the couple got super cozy backstage. Though his ring finger was bare, we spotted a shiny ring on her’s, right before the couple went outside for a smoke… and he let her wear his jacket.

We can’t imagine why these two haven’t stepped out as man and wife until this point, but we’re THRILLED they finally did it at the Young Hollywood Awards. Celebrate your love, you two — we couldn’t be happier for the both of you!

Has anyone in the Wilmywood seen these two together here? I stopped watching OTH years ago and never seen Vampire Diaries. I have never heard of either one of these two. So I could walk right by them and not even notice. Leave some feedback people if you have seen them together.

Here is Alicia Keyes new video, “Un-Thinkable(I’m Ready).” Murray has not been seen doing much since he has left One Tree Hill, but in Alicia’s new video he plays Keyes’ new love interest. Keep watching he sports a mullet later on in the song. I love it. It is a song that goes through generations of a couple liking each other.

So, last week I reported about Hilarie Burton liking old wrinkly balls. It turns out she REALLY loves old wrinkly balls. It was a shocker and I live in Wilmington, and did not even hear about this. I don’t think our newspapers in the area even had an article, and if they did I may have missed it. It was reported that Hilarie and her man, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, have been hiding a baby. I mean did they just put in the closet or something and just never brought it out to places? Anyways, UsWeekly said that burton gave birth to a love child months ago. The two have been knocking boots since last year.

I mean is that like the new fad? Am I missing something here? Is it like the cool thing to start hiding your pregnant and have a baby and then all the sudden…SURPRISE! Hey everyone I have a baby. Damn, I hope I do not have a secret baby some where.

So what are our OTH stars up to in other news this week? Well yesterday I talked about Chad Michael Murray will be releasing his graphic novel here soon. Meanwhile, Sophia Bush and her co-star and boyfriend, Austin Nichols, were caught holding hands as they went to lunch together in West Hollywood yesterday. Bush was also cast in an ABC family comedy pilot called Southern DIscomfort. Get this, she is set to play a character named “Haley” who is a young girl who moves back home with her dad and turns his life upside down. So far OTH has not been renewed by CW yet, but there are good chances. Click here for pictures of the cute couple holding hands.

E Online recently interviewed new One Tree Hill star, Robert Buckley, about what fans are doing to save the show. He stated that fans are sending in Basketballs. “I didn’t know this, but apparently fans are sending in basketballs to the CW. That’s not easy to send a basketball!” according to the OTH star. “You have to make a big effort to send an object that awkward and big in the mail. I was really surprised, because that’s not a cheap or easy thing to do. But apparently they’re sending basketballs to the CW powers that be.”

Old One Tree Hill Star, Chad Michael Murray, has been working on a graphic novel called Everlast. It has been a six year long process for him and will be released this summer. Murray’s girlfriend, Kenzie Dalton, said “After reading it, I have to say that it really is an intriguing story that kept me caught up in the moment. I am incredibly proud of him and we both are pumped about it…Yes, there will be a tour. The book will be sold all over the U.S. as well as in France and Germany. I can’t wait for everyone to feast their eyes on the wonder that is Everlast.”

Well I am kind of curious to see what Murray has to offer. I love graphic novels, and i’m sure he is hoping for a movie deal out of this too so he can have something to act in once again. I hope he remembers his roots here in Wilmington and stops off here during his book tour.

Sophia Bush, One Tree Hill fame, has been cast in family comedy pilot “Southern Discomfort.” So what is in store for One Tree Hill? CW is saying that “One Tree Hill” is still their main priority with Bush. If OTH gets another season then Bush will still be on it. Southern Discomfort is just plan “B” in case OTH is not renewed.

Right now it is looking that OTH has great chances of being picked up. The firm has till May 19 to announce if they are renewing OTH or not. I am sure they will till that date too. Ratings dipped this year, but not by much. OTH has a huge fan base, so lets hope the fans can keep it alive.

One Tree Hill recently filmed a beach scene which gave everyone a shot at Sophia Bush’s sexy body in a bikini. I am unsure what area of Wilmington this is at or is it at Carolina Beach? The rocks make it look like Kure Beach to me. Anyways, these photos have already hit all over the internet, so kudos to whoever took them.
