Chad Michael Murray returning to One Tree Hill

Wilmington NC has some big One Tree Hills news. OTH’s favorite son, Chad Michael Murray, will be returning to One Tree Hill for the final season. Lucas Scott will be asked to come back to OTH after Haley reaches out to him for help.

“The secret’s out,” Chad tweeted earlier in the day. “I’m excited 2 say that ‘Luke’ will b reuniting with the amazing OTH cast, Producers & Crew 4 an ep! This is 4 u great fans.”

I am sure I will be seeing the crazy fans out during the filming of his scenes.

Lisa Goldstein encounter–Afternoon Delight

Today to my surprise while going to work, I saw camera crews all in front of my office. There were tables of food, wires going down our hallway. I thought to myself, wow, is this all for me? I just could only wish. It turns out One Tree Hill was filming below our office.

The crews were busy setting up and I had to get on with work. As the day went on the heat just swelled up, and the crowd of young onlookers just grew. The fan base for this television show is surprising, I used to be one myself roughly five years ago.

The scene that was being shot was at a recently out of business shop and looked to me as if some one has been hurt. There were fire trucks, cop cars, and ambulances all along the streets and shooting off their sirens. The filming did not take long. They were in and out of there in roughly four hours. The only star of the show that I saw was Lisa Goldstein, who plays the character Millicent. Millicent was introduced I guess after I stopped watching the show. I had no clue who she was.

Any of our Wilmington area readers by chance know anything about this? Who else got a glimpes of the craziness?

Two Wilmington productions released soon

A few months back Wilmington, NC was filled with productions around the same time. Two of those productions, Hicks and Hart of Dixie, are coming out.

A Hart of Dixie stars Rachel Bilson as Zoe Hart, along with Jaime King and Scott Porter. Scenes were filmed all over Wilmington including the downtown area and the UNCW campus. A Hart of Dixie will be released on CW Sept. 26. Check below for the trailer

Blake Lively film, Hick, finally has a first look for viewers. The movie is based around Chloe Moretz’s character, Luli. Luli runs away from here neglectful parents and then is soon taken by Glenda (Lively).

One Tree Hill final season begins filming

I was walking around today, like I do any other day and was excited to see the shooting of the final season of One Tree Hill. I have not watched the show in roughly four years so I am not aware of what has been happening. I do know that last time I watched the show Karen’s Cafe was turned into Clothes over Bros. During my walk today, I noticed filming with the Clothes Over Bros store turned back into Karen’s Cafe. There were several people standing outside waiting for a glimpse at whoever was filming.

I continued to walk around the block and ran into Austin Nichols twice. Of course I do not have the courage to speak to any of these people, and hope someday I will and get a chance to interview them for the website.

Jenelle Evans, local Teen Mom, back on track

Jenelle Evan’s of Teen Mom, has made national news again. She was a stand out on the show due to her troubled life. It is said she is determined to turn her life back around and has now started back up classes at local Cape Fear Community College. “After getting out of rehab she’s back home in North Carolina and started class at Cape Fear Community College on Wednesday. She’s taking American History and a math course,” her attorney Dustin R.T. Sullivan told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview on Friday.

“She wants to finish the two year program with an Associate’s Degree and then get her Bachelor’s Degree from UNCW (University of North Carolina Wilmington).”

Evans has passed her first drug test a couple of weeks ago after getting out of rehab. She is now applying for jobs and hoping to become more professional.

“In 10 years I see myself living in a decent house with a decent car and with Jace and married to a man that deserves me and my family. I also see myself with a career as a film editor,” she said in an interview.

The Hoff is in Wilmington

The big sequel to Piranha 3D is filming currently here in Wilmington. I have seen tons of photos from friends who have been extras in the film, and I will say these photos are hot. Piranha 3DD has a huge list of cool cast with cameos in the film. Currently Ving Rhames is here for a month filming it, and what is confusing is his character died in the first one? Then Gary Busey came into town and while here gave some speeches at the colleges here. Now Piranha 3DD has added Ron Jeremy, Christopher Lloyd, and the Hoffmeister himself..David Hasselhoff.

The Hoff has been enjoying his time here in Wilmington, and has been keeping his fans up to date on his blog. It is great to see that a celebrity is so involved with his fans. Although at times he is controversial, it truly shows how much he appreciates the people who have put him in the spotlight. My friend actually ran into him at the Charlotte airport, and I was so jealous. Anyways, take a look at one of the clips the Hoff has posted about Wilmington.

I am glad the Hoff is having an Hoffsome time at the beach filming Piranha 3DD which comes out November 23.

Katrina Bowden joining Piranha 3DD

The next big film that is being filmed here in Wilmington, NC is Piranha 3DD. So far it has a small unknown cast, but recently it added Gary Busey. Now the film is adding 30 Rock cast member, Katrina Bowden. Bowden was recently named Esquires Sexiest Woman Alive.

I wouldn’t have any idea if I saw any of these people around here. I haven’t heard of any production sets or seen any road signs. I really hope to see Bowden or Busey.

One Tree Hill in jeopardy

Yesterday Sophia Bush posted on her twitter that she has agreed to do another year of One Tree Hill and the writer are all ready. Unfortunately, CW has not decided to pick up OTH yet.

CW announced that it has picked up shows like 90210, Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Supernatural, and America’s Next Top Model. Now Nikita, OTH, and Hellcats are in jeopardy as there has not been a decision made yet. If OTH is renewed it will be a ninth season for them.

I personally cannot believe that Sophia Bush would not want to do something else. It seems to me OTH is holding her back, but I can understand that she enjoys doing it so much. She can offer a lot more it seems then some of her past crew that has left.
