Wilmington NC has some big One Tree Hills news. OTH’s favorite son, Chad Michael Murray, will be returning to One Tree Hill for the final season. Lucas Scott will be asked to come back to OTH after Haley reaches out to him for help.

“The secret’s out,” Chad tweeted earlier in the day. “I’m excited 2 say that ‘Luke’ will b reuniting with the amazing OTH cast, Producers & Crew 4 an ep! This is 4 u great fans.”

I am sure I will be seeing the crazy fans out during the filming of his scenes.

Today to my surprise while going to work, I saw camera crews all in front of my office. There were tables of food, wires going down our hallway. I thought to myself, wow, is this all for me? I just could only wish. It turns out One Tree Hill was filming below our office.

The crews were busy setting up and I had to get on with work. As the day went on the heat just swelled up, and the crowd of young onlookers just grew. The fan base for this television show is surprising, I used to be one myself roughly five years ago.

The scene that was being shot was at a recently out of business shop and looked to me as if some one has been hurt. There were fire trucks, cop cars, and ambulances all along the streets and shooting off their sirens. The filming did not take long. They were in and out of there in roughly four hours. The only star of the show that I saw was Lisa Goldstein, who plays the character Millicent. Millicent was introduced I guess after I stopped watching the show. I had no clue who she was.

Any of our Wilmington area readers by chance know anything about this? Who else got a glimpes of the craziness?

I was walking around today, like I do any other day and was excited to see the shooting of the final season of One Tree Hill. I have not watched the show in roughly four years so I am not aware of what has been happening. I do know that last time I watched the show Karen’s Cafe was turned into Clothes over Bros. During my walk today, I noticed filming with the Clothes Over Bros store turned back into Karen’s Cafe. There were several people standing outside waiting for a glimpse at whoever was filming.

I continued to walk around the block and ran into Austin Nichols twice. Of course I do not have the courage to speak to any of these people, and hope someday I will and get a chance to interview them for the website.

Yesterday Sophia Bush posted on her twitter that she has agreed to do another year of One Tree Hill and the writer are all ready. Unfortunately, CW has not decided to pick up OTH yet.

CW announced that it has picked up shows like 90210, Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Supernatural, and America’s Next Top Model. Now Nikita, OTH, and Hellcats are in jeopardy as there has not been a decision made yet. If OTH is renewed it will be a ninth season for them.

I personally cannot believe that Sophia Bush would not want to do something else. It seems to me OTH is holding her back, but I can understand that she enjoys doing it so much. She can offer a lot more it seems then some of her past crew that has left.

I have not watched One Tree Hill in a long time since Chad Michael Murray and Hilary Burton left the series so I really have no clue what is going on. After watching this clip though it makes me want to definitely check up and see how Brooke, played by Sophia Bush, has been doing. In this she is role playing with what I assume is her husband now. Sophia Bush visited Chelsea Lately last night. The two discussed Bush’s charities and how she has been helping out with the Gulf disaster. After the two talked about that for a while, the One Tree Hill star and comedian turned to a more serious note.

Chelsea brought up the Arizona shooting where Bush’s 9 year old cousin was shot and killed by a lunatic.

Bush Stated:

“It’s been a lesson more than anything for me and for my family that life is incredibly short,” Sophia told Chelsea of her second-cousin’s death. “You’ve gotta take every day and tell the people you love that you do.

“It’s really important for all of us to take a step back. It’s easy to get heated and to scream and yell about what’s going on in the world, but when it’s getting irresponsible, when it’s getting out of control in the world of journalism and television…” the actress continued.

“Anything that incites any sort of violence,” added Chelsea. “I’m the biggest bully there is. I make fun of everybody…But you can’t ever, ever suggest violence.”

I spoke about this yesterday, and it is a sad unfortunate event that people take politics so seriously. In my opinion our world’s politics have brought nothing but pain and suffering. Oh I wish we had honest people like our forefathers.

Over the weekend there was a tragedy in Arizona where U.S. representative, Gabrielle Gifford, and her staff were shot by some political lunatic. Some people take things way too serious and it is a total shame.

It turns out that Gwyneth Paltrow is cousins with Gifford, but the two have never met.

Paltrow said, Although I have never had the pleasure of meeting congresswoman Giffords, my thoughts and prayers are with her and her family as well as the other victims of this horrible act of senseless violence.”

Sophia Bush from One Tree Hill then stated that she was related to the young 9 year old girl who was killed during that shooting that day. “There are no words to explain what my cousin’s family is going through in Arizona. How can this be? Violence is never the answer,” Sophia said.

Our prayers are out with the family of the lost.

One Tree Hill star, James Lafferty, sure has lucked out on this one. It turns out this lucky boy is dating none other then U2 frontman, Bono’s, daughter. Lafferty is 25 and Eve Hewson is 19. The two were seen together yesterday at Leopardstown Horse Races in Dublin, Ireland. Bono just farts out money so James hit the jackpot on this one compared to some of the non-famous girls he has dated in the past.

An onlooker stated that the two kept whispering in each other’s ears and looked adorable. Awww.

Eve will be staring along side Sean Penn and France McDormand in the film This Must Be The Place.

I wonder how the two started dating and how they met.

All you One Tree Hill fans, get ready for a nice holiday taste of Chad Michael Murray on December 12. Chad will be in the ABC Family Tv movie, Christmas Cupid. It is a modern take on the Christmas Carol and also stars Christina Milian, and Ashley Benson.

Synopsis:Sloane Spencer(Milian), a high powered Hollywood publicist who finds herself haunted by the ghost of her recently departed infamous client Caitlin (Benson). With just days before Christmas, Caitlin takes Sloane on a journey to meet the ghosts of her ex-boyfriends from the past, present and future to try and guide her to true love.

On a side note Mariah Carey’s holiday song, “Oh Santa” will be in the show.
