DC Comics Plans to do Watchmen 2
As if the first one was not terrible and boring enough, DC decides it wants to make a sequel or prequels to Watchmen. I went and saw Watchmen the very first night of opening and found it to be wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to long. Watchmen is not your typical comic book movie, and it is not very action packed. It is more about getting a message across, and it did. I enjoyed the story telling, but kept me at no interest to ever see a sequel. I even went with comic fans who read the comic and they were truly dissapointed with the outcome. So, I hope the author, Alan Moore, shuts this idea down.
Captain America Casting
Joe Johnston states that they hope to have Captain America casted within the next few weeks. Shooting is suppose to start at the end of June, and is slated to hit theatres July 22, 2011. I say give Matthew McConaughey a chance, he always looked like Capt. America to me. He would have to be serious though, and I don’t think he could pull that off. I wouldn’t be surprised to see an unknown pulled into this one. They want to turn a skinny guy into a muscular guy.
