Pee Wee Herman is coming back bigger than ever now. With a broadway plays that Paul Reuben has been doing lately, he has now received better news! Judd Apatow is wanting to produce Pee-Wee’s Next Big Adventure.
“Let’s face it, the world needs more Pee-wee Herman,” Apatow told the trade. “I am so excited to be working with Paul Reubens—who is an extraordinary and groundbreaking actor and writer. It’s so great to watch him return with such relevance.”
Paul Reuben responded: “There is no one like Judd in our business—he loves comedy with emotion and heart, and he sees what we do as art,” said the resurgent 57-year-old actor. “I can’t believe I’m getting this opportunity to be working with him.”
I think this movie will be awesome, and I miss Pee Wee. I loved him as a child and it will bring a whole new world to kids these days. Apatow will not direct the film, but just produce. Other films he produced and not directed was Superbad and Getting Him to the Greek.
