Well One Tree Hill fans, we can all rejoice! OTH has been picked up for another season along with Life Unexpected. The CW picked up two new shows too, and then killed Melrose Place. The two shows that were picked up were Nikita which is a remake of La Femme Nikita. The other is produced by Superman himself, Tom Welling, called Hellcats. It is an extreme-cheerleading drama. Do not ask me why Tom Welling is producing a cheerleading flick.
It is said that OTH and Life Unexpected are each getting 13 episodes this season. That will give Wilmington on more year with it. I believe OTH is going to have to just end the show and write a final story to it this season. It seems that people are starting to get tired of watching it and CW is recognizing that. I think it is fair enough to say it was a great run in Wilmington and next season should be the final season. I do not seeing it surviving one more. I am impressed it survived this far without Hilarie Burton and Chad Michael Murray. If Sophia Bush wants to leave it will be over with and I am sure she wants to do better things with her career. It seems she has great potential and should be doing a lot more.
